A trained mediator, Quinton has served on panels of inquiry addressing cases of unfair discrimination, sexual harassment, and victimisation. In his current role, he designs and facilitates training interventions that advance transformation, inclusion, and critical diversity, working across faculties and with professional staff to integrate issues of inequality and justice into teaching and learning.

Quinton is a PhD fellow in the International Research and Training Group “Transformative Religion, ”a collaboration between Humboldt University, Stellenbosch University, the University of KwaZulu Natal, and the University of the Western Cape. He has lectured part-time in Theology at Stellenbosch University—where he developed an accredited short course funded by the Nagel Project—and regularly delivers guest lectures at the UCT Graduate School of Business and other faculties. He also serves as a Section 11 Advisor to the South African Human Rights Commission, contributing to the development of a national curriculum on diversity and inclusion, and has co-edited a special issue on transformation as a humanising praxis.
