Named after the isiXhosa word for “meeting”, Lekgotla 4 is a spacious, fully equipped meeting room designed to support seamless collaboration. With views of Table Mountain and Devil’s Peak, it offers an inspiring setting for productive discussions, workshops, and presentations.
The room accommodates up to 32 people and features dual monitors, audio capabilities, and a kitchenette with coffee and tea facilities. Power backup ensures uninterrupted sessions, and access is controlled via an entry code.

Lekgotla 4 Window (Bookable Display Space)
The window in Lekgotla 4 is also a bookable display space that can be used to showcase banners highlighting important research, initiatives, or institutional priorities. Positioned to face the M3, it offers high visibility to traffic entering and exiting Cape Town.
Rates for Non-IDM Members:
🔹 R150 per day fee for use of advertising space
🔹 R26,000 Banner design, printing and installation
🔹 R2,600 removal fee
