The IDM Accountability Working Group is dedicated to promoting awareness, inclusion, and equity by ensuring that diverse voices are heard and valued across all aspects of the institute’s work. Our working definition of social accountability emphasises the research community's responsibility to produce scientific knowledge in ways that actively address societal challenges and promote equity.

Join leaders from the IDM Social Accountability Working Group & speaker A/Prof Renier Coetzee for an engaging workshop. The objective of the workshop is to facilitate a greater understanding of social accountability in both research and teaching practice.
