Michael Fanner

Michael Fanner is the Business Analyst for Central Research Finance, University of Cape Town. He holds a holds an Honours in Management Accounting and is a CIMA member. He has performed finance roles in a variety of industries, including leading the Pre-Awards team for the UCT IDM (later the Faculty Campus Hub). As of late 2019 he transitioned to addressing the difficulties in systems and process related to research finance, and as direct result has been designing and developing the Research Finance Gate app.

Eleanor Peters

Eleanor Peters, the Supervisor of Procurement in the Faculty of Health Sciences, where all Procurement, whether via a purchase order (PO) or purchasing card(PCard) and the clearing of PCards are being managed. The Goods receiving office forms part of Procurement where all goods are being received, distributed to the end-users and invoices receipted for payment. I have been in the field as Supervisor for ±5 years and is heading a team of 20 staff members. The team is managed with sensitivity but firm as we service a very busy and demanding clientele. Outside of work, I belong to different entities within the community and church and is actively involved with the Seniors and Children.
