Transformation Working Group

The Transformation Working Group drives and supports diversity, equity, and inclusivity across the IDM community. Guided by the Institute’s values of Excellence, Collaboration, and Transformation, the group works to cultivate an environment where all staff, researchers, and students feel represented, respected, and empowered to belong.

Its mission is to create inclusive spaces where individuals can freely express their gender, race, identity, and lived experiences, strengthening the social fabric of the IDM.

The group is chaired by Fezile Khumalo, with Anna-Ursula Happel serving as Co-Chair.
