Sustainability Working Group

The Sustainability Working Group champions eco-friendly and responsible practices across the IDM. Its work includes protecting the environment, reducing waste, and embedding sustainability into daily research and activities all in alignment with the principles of My Green Lab Certification.

The group’s overarching goal is to position the IDM as a leader not only in scientific excellence, but also in environmental stewardship, setting the standard for sustainable biomedical research in Africa.

The group is chaired by Selisha Naidoo, with Yulisha Naidoo serving as Co-Chair.
