Ms Nombuso Yende

As Compliance Coordinator, Nombuso ensures effective regulatory compliance across the Institute by managing and tracking permit submissions, including import and export permits and pathogen registrations. She works closely with research groups to provide targeted compliance support, particularly in relation to biosafety documentation. Nombuso also oversees compliance for Core Technology Platforms and serves as the primary point of contact for permit reviews and status updates, Section 20 applications, risk assessments, QIR submissions, incident reporting, and audit-related support.
