Speaker
Munyaradzi’s research efforts are focused on the interface of tuberculosis (TB) immunology and clinical translation of promising TB vaccine concepts and TB biomarkers. He is involved in several projects that are characterising T cell responses induced by candidate TB vaccines, assessing promising TB biomarkers, and identifying antigens for candidate TB vaccines. Through his research, Munyaradzi hopes to gain insights that will inform vaccine design and biomarker development to ultimately reduce the disease burden cause by TB. He is part of the South African Tuberculosis Vaccine Initiative (SATVI).
