Main Research Focus

Michael Zulu's research centers around understanding the role of myeloid cells in viral disease pathogenesis and complicated pregnancies. Michael obtained a Ph.D. in Clinical Science & Immunology from UCT. Subsequently, postdoctoral training was accomplished at the University of Surrey in England, UK, as well as at the University of California and Emory University in the USA.
