Dr Ruby Bunjun

Junior Research Fellow

With a PhD in Medical Virology, Ruby’s research focuses on understanding immunity to SARS-CoV-2 in Africa. Her current projects investigate pre-existing immunity to SARS-CoV-2 in adolescents, and immune dysfunction during "Iong COVID”. Rubina is a Carnegie Corporation DEAL2 and EDCTP2 Career Development Fellow, and was the recipient of the 2021 Dr John Gusdon Memorial New Investigator Award.
