Dr. Goletti, MD, PhD, is the Director of the Translational Research Laboratory at the National Institute for infectious Diseases (INMI), in Rome, Italy. She is a clinician in the outpatient clinic of INMI and leads a team on studies related to the immunopathogenesis of diseases like M. tuberculosis, Echinococcus granulosus, and SARS-CoV-2. These studies aim to identify biomarkers and suggest new host-directed therapies.

She collaborates with national and international organizations such as the WHO, eCDC, ESCMID, and ERS on research related to biomarkers and tuberculosis infection issues.
